In this alert, it states there are differences to the start window. What are these specifically?

Windows 10 Creators Update

Tuesday, 11 April 2017

Windows 10 Creators Update (Version 1703/build 15063), the next chapter in Windows 10, is scheduled to arrive on April 11, 2017. Not all devices will receive this major upgrade on this date and this update will be rolling out in waves. Major changes in this update include improved Edge, read Epub books in Edge, Cortana improvements, Start Menu changes and tile folders, Settings app changes, game mode, Night light, Narrator improvements and more.

For screen reader users: any screen reader that declares support for Windows 10 Anniversary Update (Version 1607) are compatible, although some screen readers will require latest updates to function well with this update. The following versions are supported:

  • Narrator: built into Windows.
  • JAWS for Windows: 16.0.4474 or later (JAWS 18.0.2530 or later recommended).
  • Window-Eyes: 9.5 or later (9.5.4 or later recommended).
  • Nonvisual Desktop Access: 2016.3 or later (2017.1 or later recommended).
  • ZoomText: 11.2 or later.
  • Any screen reader declaring support for Windows 10 (versions that support Anniversary Update or updated to support Creators Update is recommended).
