Is this the update that creates problems for JAWS?

Subject: [Special] [WinAccess] Are you ready for Windows 10 Version 21H2 era? #BranchProgression #WinTen21H2

Hi all,

For those who have recently joined us: the #BranchProgression hashtag is used to announce general availability of a Windows 10/11 feature update.

Windows 10 Version 21H2 (November 2021 Update/build 19044) is now available with changes to Windows 10 release schedule:

How to get the Windows 10 November 2021 Update | Windows Experience Blog

Key things to note:

  • You must be running Windows 10 Version 2004 (May 2020 Update/build 19041) or later to install Version 21H2 easily (Version 21H2 is an enablement package).
  • Starting from Version 21H2, Windows 10 feature updates will be released once a year.
  • Not everyone will be prompted to upgrade to Windows 10 Version 21H2 today – just like recent updates, Version 21H2 will be released in stages.
  • If you are prompted to upgrade to either Windows 10 Version 21H2 or Windows 11, it’s up to you if you wish to upgrade to Windows 11. Unlike last time, I strongly recommend everyone to install Version 21H2 as soon as it is offered to you to minimize confusion (better to install Version 21H2 and then prompted to upgrade to Windows 11 rather than stay on 21H1 and upgrade to either 21H2 or Windows 11). Speaking of Windows 11 rollout, more people using eligible devices are prompted to upgrade to Windows 11.

A note for WinAccess forum members: with the release of Windows 10 Version 21H2, cumulative update announcements for Version 21H1 will end in January 2022.

And with that, let the Windows 10 Version 21H2 era begin!
