Updated to the new 11082 insider Preview
I found the same thing (also Edge and Action Center at least). I found the next time I used the computer (ie after a shutdown / startup again) it worked again though Edge still doesn't work with NVDA

Odd issue with file explorer
After you do alt+f then 2 - what is the path in the address bar (press alt+d)? Is it still c:\users\username\ ? Does the folder appear under "This PC"?

No problems here, but really all that does is confirm that it doesn't happen to everyone - without knowing WHAT caused the problem (eg incompatibility with a particular version of a particular driver)

By opening up your user folder, do you mean going to c:\users\Greg\ (replace Greg with whatever your username is)? Try doing alt+f (which opens the file menu) then 2 as you have done (In the file menu

Try tapping your alt (and maybe control and shift for good measure) keys a few times - maybe it thinks you have one held down - that happens occasionally. Even in Tablet mode, alt+f4 should work norma

Windows Defender is basically the newer version of MSE - it's a bit confusing as they used to have defender, then MSE now back to defender :) Essentially Defender should do the job unless you do lots
