For WordPad, you could make a shortcut to "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Accessories\wordpad" and that would get it done.

Anytime you need to get to this folder, just open the run dialog or create a shortcut to shell:sendto and that will do it.

I went ahead and jumped the gun on Version 21H2 by using the media creation tool and things are working perfectly. I'm not sure why it is slow coming through Windows update.
